HPC Venezuela, C.A. recieved the order of refurbishment work of four generating units at Guri I Power House. |

HPC Venezuela C.A. (VHPC) (Puerto Ordaz, March 2007) has won the contract of refurbishment work of four generating units at Guri I Power House in Venezuela, owned by C.V.G. Electrificación del Caroní (EDELCA). The contract was awarded to VHPC by ALSTOM Hydro Venezuela S.A. VHPC is responsible for erection and assistance for commissioning of refurbishment of 4 x 400 MW Francis turbines generators and associated hydro-mechanical equipment. The first unit is scheduled for commercial operation in the first quarter of 2009.
