Other scope of work:

- Construction Management.

The construction contract is on lump sum basis except for cabling which on unit rate contract. Therefore, the construction manager is in full charge of the entire construction work. HPT/VHPC are responsible for quality of work, scheduling, cost control, coordination of work with other contractors and client, procurement of materials, labor relations, payroll, and all matters specified in the contract. The approximately 600 persons were on the payroll during the peak period (1994-1996).

- Transportation.

Inland transportation of equipment from the dock or the factory was carried out under HPT/VHPC’s management. The total weight of equipment handled was approximately 45,000 tons.
